Riding with Robert!

Ok so Robert is this guy from my church! He's almost 80 can you believe it! Fit as a horse and he dont look it either!!!!! So anyway me and mom were wantin to go to Mc. Donalds and get a Mc. Flurrie (yummy) and so Walt and his wife Carol and Robert and his wife Pat joined us, so i rode with Robert he wanted me to drive but i havent driven a stick shift yet, and Pat rode with mom.

So as we're goin down the highway Robert was tellin me how to drive a stick shift and he told me a story of how he learned. He said that he was workin for this guy and he told Robert to go down to the barn and get him something from it so, Robert decides to use his boss' car and go to the barn (now mind you the car is a stickshift.) So Robert gets in, and its just basically a big field 'cept it had two pine trees pretty close together.

So he starts down and its his first time so what happens? Yep he got stuck between the two pine trees in his boss' car! So he goes back up there and his boss comes out and he's like, "Where's my car?" and Robert says, "I dont know." And he looks around and sees his car down the field stuck between the two pine trees, he says "How'd my car get down there?" And Robert says he was stutterin and he said, "I guess it rolled down there." Course he found out and got fired plus he got in trouble with his parents.

"And that's how i taught myself to drive to! So that's how i learned to drive!" Robert laughed. I
laughed to how could you not Robert has a great sense of humor and he's so funny to!

But so the ice cream machines where down..... so yeah so we decided to go to Morgan's. So we started off and Robert turns the wrong way i thought we were going the wrong way but b4 i could say anything he says, "Wait a minute, Lowe's is the other way!" (Morgan's is like right at Lowe's) so he turns into CVS and he does a doughnut in the handicap parking spaces! *laughs*

So we start off again (the right way) and he turns again and i was thinking we were on the wrong side again b4 i could say anything Robert's like, "Oh Lord..." I kinda freaked so i asked, "What?" "We're on the wrong side!" Robert laughs! I started laughing and cuttin up with him and he's like "Well heres a lesson on going on the wrong side of the road!"

So we get there and everyone else is already there! So we come up and i tell mom and she can't stop laughing! So we go in and we had the best time!!!!! it was so much fun! after we were leavin Carol's like, "Poor Chelsey all she has to hang out with are old people!" But what they dont know is i had so much fun!!!! i could have been with the youth but i dont think i'd have near as much fun as i had riding with Robert! *laughs* that was fun! and it's a memory i'll always treasure! ^^
